Educator Resources

The Buzz Educator Guides were developed by Eight's PreK-12 Education department ASSET Arizona School Services through Educational Technology. The Guides are aligned to Arizona Academic Standards and connect to real-time Buzz video segments.

For over two decades ASSET, as part of Eight/KAET public television, has maintained a reputation for delivering high quality professional development programs and instructional materials to meet the changing needs of PreK-12 educators and students. Today, ASSET services are delivered via the Internet and support educational organizations in meeting the challenge of increasing student achievement and complying with Federal and State education mandates. A team of professional development specialists works throughout the state to ensure that educators effectively use the online resources provided by ASSET.

As a membership consortium of schools, districts and other educational entities, all individuals within these organizations access ASSET resources through the educator’s desktop. The Arizona Department of Education pays the annual membership fee on behalf of all PreK-12 public school districts and charter schools in the state of Arizona. Arizona educators access ASSET services through the IDEAL (Integrated Data to Enhance Arizona’s Learning) initiative. However, ASSET membership is available to all educational organizations inside and outside Arizona.
